Victoria Falls Helicopter & Lookout Experience
This full-day experience celebrates the best of Victoria Falls — from thrilling adventure to breathtaking beauty. Guests cross into Zimbabwe for a private guided exploration of the Falls, where the power and mist of the Zambezi River create an unforgettable natural spectacle. During the day, enjoy a 10-minute helicopter flight, capturing the grandeur of the Falls from above, as well as an additional opportunity to tour the falls by foot. Between adventures, guests gather at the Lookout Café, set dramatically on the edge of the Batoka Gorge, for lunch and an exclusive pop-up market — a vibrant celebration of local craftsmanship and spirit, all set against one of Africa’s most spectacular backdrops.
Zambezi River Rafting & Victoria Falls Discovery
(minimum age requirement is 15)
Designed for those with a spirit of adventure as well as an advanced level of fitness, this day immerses guests in the wild beauty of the Zambezi River and the majesty of Victoria Falls. After crossing into Zimbabwe, guests take on an exhilarating half-day white-water rafting experience, navigating world-class rapids and calm stretches framed by towering canyon walls. This experience requires a sense of adventure as guests paddle through some of Africa’s most legendary waters under the guidance of professional river experts. At the conclusion, participants will climb up a steep canyon to awaiting vehicles that will transfer the group to the Lookout Café for lunch and a private pop-up market featuring local artisans and handcrafted treasures. The day concludes with a private guided tour of Victoria Falls by foot, offering an inspiring finale that perfectly blends adrenaline, culture, and natural wonder.
Adrenaline Activities at Lookout Café

During our day of exploration at Victoria Falls, Lookout Café offers a delicious lunch while also adding an element of adventure with three adrenaline activities offered for our youth 26 and younger. To accommodate as many youth as possible, each child may only participate in one adrenaline activity.
Flying Fox
The Flying Fox activity is an exciting zip line experience that allows participants to glide through the air while suspended from a horizontal cable. Similar to a zip line, the Flying Fox involves being harnessed and attached to the cable, and then launching yourself from a platform to slide along the line. Unlike a traditional zip line, the Flying Fox involves a shorter distance and a more horizontal trajectory, providing a thrilling sensation of flying above the ground.
Gorge Swing
Experience the ultimate thrill with the Wild Horizons Gorge Swing—a heart-pounding 70m free fall off the edge of the Batoka Gorge where the Zambezi River Rapids rage below! Our highwire stretches across the gorge, spanning a width of 316m and plunging 120m deep. With a harness securely attached, you'll jump off the edge, experiencing a thrilling free fall before embarking on a 95m pendulum-like swing. Get ready for an unforgettable adrenaline rush unlike any other.
Zipline
Ziplining is an exhilarating adventure that allows you to soar through the air along a suspended cable. With a safety harness and pulley system, you'll zip from one end of the gorge towards the other, experiencing an adrenaline rush as you take in breathtaking views of the Zambezi River, Victoria Falls Bridge and Batoka Gorge. It's a thrilling and memorable way to explore the surroundings and enjoy a unique perspective of the landscape.

Buffalo Health & Disease Monitoring Experience
This immersive, hands-on conservation experience offers guests a close-up look at the critical veterinary work that underpins healthy wildlife populations. Working alongside wildlife veterinarians and conservation specialists, participants gain insight into how buffalo are tested for bovine tuberculosis (TB), Foot-and-Mouth Disease, and Corridor Disease, and why ongoing disease surveillance is essential for ecosystem stability, livestock protection, and regional conservation efforts. A rare opportunity to experience applied wildlife science in action and understand the role of disease management in safeguarding both wildlife and people.

Vulture Conservation, Trapping & Ringing Experience
(recommended for registrants age 16 and older)
This hands-on conservation experience places guests at the heart of efforts to protect Africa’s endangered vulture species. Working alongside conservation specialists, participants observe the use of two specialized traps and the careful ringing of vultures, learning how vital data is used to track movements, monitor population health, and address critical threats such as poisoning and habitat loss. Coming face to face with these magnificent birds offers a powerful moment of perspective — their sheer size, strength, and impressive wingspan are truly unforgettable and underscore why their protection is so urgent.

Rhino Tracking
(reserved for registrants age 12 years and older)
This guided, on-foot rhino tracking experience offers guests a rare opportunity to follow the movements of newly dehorned and chipped rhinos alongside expert trackers and conservation teams. Participants learn how traditional tracking skills and modern conservation strategies are used to monitor rhino behaviour, assess wellbeing, and support critical anti-poaching efforts. Experiencing this process entirely on foot creates a powerful, humbling connection to these iconic animals and offers deeper insight into the care, precision, and commitment required to protect one of Africa’s most threatened species.

Cheetah Collaring Experience
This guided conservation experience offers guests an in-depth look at the scientific process behind cheetah monitoring and protection. Led by wildlife veterinarians and conservation specialists, participants learn how radio collars are safely fitted and how the data collected is used to track movement patterns, study behaviour, reduce human–wildlife conflict, and support long-term conservation strategies. A rare opportunity to observe applied wildlife science in the field and understand how research directly informs cheetah conservation efforts.

Canine Anti-Poaching Unit Experience
This high-energy, educational experience offers guests a rare insight into how canine units operate on the frontline of wildlife protection. The first session focuses on observing structured training exercises, where handlers explain the dogs’ advanced detection skills, discipline, and role within anti-poaching operations. The experience then shifts into an adrenaline-fuelled, on-foot field exercise, as guests accompany the unit while the dogs actively track an unwanted threat. Lion Contraception Conservation Experience
This highly specialised conservation experience offers a rare opportunity to observe a high-care, detail-driven veterinary contraception procedure on two wild female lions. Led by expert wildlife specialists, guests gain insight into the careful planning, precision, and ethical considerations required when working with animals that are powerful and formidable, yet surprisingly fragile. As only the second time this procedure has been conducted on wild lions on the reserve, the experience provides an exceptional and exclusive view into modern conservation practice.

Advanced Specialist Photographic Safari

Participants learn advanced field techniques, camera settings, composition, and ethical wildlife photography practices while working in real safari conditions.
