While most of the safari is based on a flying safari, our guests are always accompanied and cared for by their personal guide or pilot guide. There is no luggage restriction, as their guide transports their excess luggage to the various lodges which the guests reach by plane. Day 1 | 50km


After arrival at Windhoek International Airport, meet your guide who will take you to Windhoek by luxury vehicle to your hotel. The stunning view and tranquil garden lets you unwind and relax after a long flight. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure or let your guide show you the scenic city of Windhoek.

Day 2-3 | 200km


After breakfast, travel south into the Kalahari Desert, where your suite for the coming two nights is set in a panorama of open grassy plain, acacia woodlands and red sand dunes. Take a walk in the Kalahari and in the evenings enjoy a sparkling wine sundowner on the dunes.

Day 4 | Flying


After breakfast, embark on a scenic flight to the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. After lunch along the rim of the canyon, your flight takes you to the private NamibRand Nature Reserve. Your lodge, nestled amidst the dunes and bare rock mountains in the north of the 200 000 hectare reserve, is set against a backdrop of unparalleled beauty and provides the perfect base from which to explore vast stretches of awe-inspiring nature on guided walks or nature drives.

Day 5


Enjoy the entire day on the NamibRand Nature Reserve or take part in a highly worthwhile activity is drifting over the desert in a hot-air balloon during sunrise (included except for the month of February or if weather does not permit flights). Breakfast is enjoyed amidst the dunes of the desert. Activities offered consist of nature drives or scenic guided walks. Our specialist guide brings us close and explains to us in detail the flora and fauna found in this untouched environment, home to specially adapted animal species such as oryx, springbok, giraffe and even leopard.

Day 6 | 100km


After an early breakfast you will take part in a guided excursion into the Namib Naukluft Park, Africa’s third largest nature reserve, an area marked by the highest dunes in the world, where you have the pleasure of experiencing this surreal landscape of Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei at sunrise. The first rays of sunshine paint the mountains of sand into a variety of apricot, red and orange, contrasted against a crisp blue skyline, enrapturing our senses, and providing an opportunity to capture this awesome landscape on film. Sossusvlei, where the mostly dry Tsauchab River ends abruptly amongst majestic dunes, sees us walking up one of these dunes to admire the desert landscape.

Day 7 | Flying

Your adventure then takes you over the endless Namib Desert to the Atlantic Ocean, where you can see Sandwich Harbour and the Walvis Bay Lagoon, both of which are internationally acclaimed RAMSAR Heritage Sites and the world’s largest breeding area of the lesser flamingo. Having landed in Swakopmund, you are collected by your guide, and can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8 | Flying


After breakfast you embark a marine cruise on the Walvis Bay peninsula. Enjoy the interaction with cape fur seals and dolphins whilst sipping cold sparkling wine and savouring the taste of fresh oysters and snacks. Afterwards continue your flight into Kaokoland via the shipwreck-strewn Skeleton Coast. Your lodge is scenically located in a broad valley at the confluence of two tributaries of the dry Hoanib River in the northern part of the private Palmwag Concession. Its location thus overlaps the Palmwag area and the iconic Skeleton Coast National Park, in one of the most remote areas of the Kaokoveld.

Day 9


After breakfast a diverse range of activities showcase the fascinating landscapes of the northern Palmwag Concession and the Skeleton Coast – including the wildlife within these areas. Nature drives showcase the magnitude of the landscape and offer the best possibilities of seeing desert-adapted wildlife. Although your camp is located close to the Skeleton Coast and within the true Namib Desert, its home to a rich diversity of wildlife, boasting the Kaokoveld’s best viewing of desert-adapted wildlife and access to vast, remote, and isolated wilderness.

Day 10 | Flying


Today you fly north to the Epupa Falls. On a guided walk experience the sparkling Kunene plunging 35m into the chasm, creating a dream landscape for photographers and nature lovers alike. After lunch, fly south over the Damaraland as well as the Etosha National Park; your lodge is situated on the western side of the park at a floodlit waterhole, and is built like a huge fortress into the midst of the African bush.

Day 11-12 | 200km


After breakfast and re-joining with your tour guide, enjoy a full day game drive through the Etosha National Park. With its 114 different animal and 340 different bird species, this park belongs to the world’s most diverse wildlife parks, and promises to be an unforgettable game experience. The following day is again devoted purely to the abundant wildlife found in the Etosha National Park, which surrounds a parched salt desert known as the Etosha Pan. The park is home to four of the ‘Big 5’ – elephant, lion, leopard, and rhino – with its waterholes supporting a rich diversity of birds and mammals, including rare species such as black-faced Impala, roan, cheetah, and Namibia’s smallest antelope, the Damara dik-dik.

Day 13-14 | 350km


After breakfast you travel further south to the Ombili Project, dedicated to the plight of the Bushmen communities in Namibia. Continue to Okonjima, home to the AfriCat Foundation, a non-profit organisation committed to the long-term conservation of Namibia’s large carnivores, where your villa is situated in a secluded spot within the wildlife reserve. Activities on offer consist of guided nature drives, tracking adventures, and excellent photographic safaris. The follwing day, enjoy the entire day on the property of the lodge. With the abundance of animal and bird life within spectacular scenery, Okonjima is a nature lover’s and photographer’s paradise alike.

Day 15 | 270km


After an optional morning walk and breakfast, travel back to Windhoek, where you are accommodated at the luxurious Gocheganas Nature Reserve. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and get pampered with an optional Spa treatment.

Today your guide will take you to the airport on time for your outbound flight.
