Drifters

Drifters strengthening partnerships across the Globe

June was a month of reconnecting with long-standing partners, building new relationships, and sharing the Drifters story with the global travel trade.

Ken Hill, Managing Executive, represented Drifters at Experience Africa in London, describing it as one of the strongest trade shows in years.

With a calendar full of high-quality appointments and an overwhelmingly positive response to the Drifters product, it was an excellent opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces while introducing Drifters to new trade partners.

Janine Bunsow, General Manager – Sales & Marketing, represented Drifters across Europe, meeting with key partners and strengthening relationships across several of the company’s core markets.

Her trip certainly lived up to the spirit of overland travel, with cancelled flights, midnight train journeys and airport luggage adventures all becoming part of the experience. Thankfully, plenty of productive meetings, warm welcomes and new opportunities made every kilometre worthwhile.

Back in South Africa, Teresa Botha, Sales and Marketing Liaison, represented Drifters at the Travel Counsellors Mini Indaba, hosted by Sense of Africa following their recent FAM trips.

It was a fantastic opportunity to engage directly with Travel Counsellors, strengthen new connections and showcase the Drifters experience.

Drifters also provided transfers to the farewell dinner using its iconic Adventure Truck and Traveller vehicles, giving delegates the chance to experience the vehicles firsthand. A big thank you to Sense of Africa for including Drifters.

Whether in Europe, the UK or South Africa, June was a month of strengthening partnerships, creating new connections, and proudly flying the Drifters flag around the world.
