Day 1 | 50km
After arrival at Windhoek International Airport and receiving your rental vehicle, start your journey through mountainous terrain into Windhoek. Here you check into your romantic and historic castle turned luxury hotel. The stunning view and tranquil garden lets you unwind and relax after a long flight. The indulging evening will be spent in the romantic wine cellar with a private candle light dinner and personal butler.

Day 2 | 330km
After breakfast you travel north-east to the Waterberg Plateau where your spacious chalet offers a private plunge pool overlooking the endless bush savannah. In the afternoon, follow your guide on a private sundowner walk onto the Waterberg Plateau where you will be introduced to the local wedding culture of the Herero tribe and the bride will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to dress up in a traditional Herero wedding dress – these are photos you will be able to boast at home!

Day 3-5 | 200km
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Your honeymoon safari takes you north to the Ongava Game Reserve, bordering directly along the Etosha National Park. Here you will spend the following three days in a luxurious African safari setting with your very own private balcony, offering panoramic views over the surrounding mopane savannah and a waterhole which attracts a wide variety of animal species. Explore the abundant wildlife of the African savannah in Etosha National Park in your own vehicle, or simply relax and enjoy the magnificent service of this private game reserve by taking part in optional game drives or guided walks.

Day 6-7 | 380km
After breakfast you travel further into the remote Damaraland. It is marked by endless vistas across stark plains, ancient valleys, distant mountains which bring the traveler as close to nature as is comfortably possible. The evening is spent at a romantic dinner next to the open fire of the lodge boma before returning to your romantically prepared chalet including a bottle of champagne and fresh fruit platter. The following day is open for either lazing at the pool or in your luxurious chalet, or visiting the largest open-air museum in southern Africa at Twyfelfontein. This is Namibia’s first World Heritage Site where Bushmen communities engraved and painted over 2 500 pictures some 6 000 years ago. In the late afternoon we recommend an optional adventure in open vehicle in search for the elusive desert elephant.

Day 8-9 | 300km
You travel from Damaraland and along the Skeleton coastline to the town of Swakopmund, idyllically set between the waves of the Atlantic Ocean and the majestic sand dunes of the Namib Desert. Swakopmund is a very popular and laid back holiday destination. The pleasant climate and long stretches beach create romantic settings, while the bohemian mix of old German buildings takes you back into a time when life was much more laid-back. On the next day it’s time to explore and experience numerous activities ranging from, adventure to exploring the fascinating features of the Namib Desert and the animals and plants that occur and survive there. Embrace the relaxed pace of this coastal town whilst enjoying coffee and freshly baked pastries in one of the many street cafés. Take time to get the feel of this quaint town with its historic buildings, museums, or the beach bar that has transformed into its own personality by the vibrant use of colour and carefree atmosphere it offers to its visitors.

Day 10 | 370km
After breakfast your journey leads through the vast open plains of the Namib Desert to your lodge, which is the perfect gateway to exploring the Dead Vlei and Sossusvlei. The afternoon can be spent relaxing at the pool, or taking part in optional activities in the 7 000 hectare private nature reserve. Experience the desert in the late afternoon by sitting on a cliff, or enjoy the untouched natural setting on horseback.

Day 11-12 | 230km
SOSSUSVLEI & NAMIBRAND NATURE RESERVE
Entering the Namib Naukluft National Park with sunrise, the first rays of sunlight paint the mountains of sand into a variety of apricot, red and orange, contrasted against a crisp blue skyline, providing an opportunity to capture this awe-inspiring landscape on film. Explore the surreal Dead Vlei surrounded by some of the highest dunes on earth at Sossusvlei where you can climb one of the dunes. We stop at Sesriem Canyon on our way back to our lodge. Enjoy the entire following day on the NamibRand Nature Reserve. Activities on offer consist of nature drives on the private property or scenic guided walks. Your specialist ranger brings you close to the wonders and treasures of the desert and explains in detail the flora and fauna found in this untouched environment, home to specially-adapted animal species such as oryx, springbok, giraffe, and even leopard.

Day 13 | 360km
After an optional morning activity, travel back to Windhoek, where you are accommodated at the private GocheGanas Nature Reserve, situated on a hill with spectacular view on to the Auas Mountains. With one of the best wellness spas throughout southern Africa, this is the one place you would like to be to enjoy a couple’s massage! Enjoy an optional afternoon game drive including a sundowner drink, and upon your return unwind in a warm Chrystal bath while sipping bubbly with your loved one.

Day 14 | 60km
Depending on your outbound flight, you have time to take part in optional game drives, mountain bike trails or nature walks offered by the lodge, before travelling to the international airport for your flight home.
