Day 1

ARUSHA

Guests arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport are met by an Elewana representative and transferred to their respective hotels. Situated at the foot of Mount. Meru, Arusha is multicultural and often regarded as the de facto capital of the East African Community.

Overnight at Arusha Coffee Lodge – Breakfast.

Day 2

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, guests enjoy a tour of the coffee plantations and an al fresco lunch in the lodge gardens. The tour departs for Tarangire National Park on a scheduled flight. Guests are met on arrival by a Tarangire Treetops representative and transferred to the Treetops Private Reserve. En route visitors enjoy a game drive, arriving in time for sundowners. The park is home to a diversity of large mammals including buffalo, elephant, lion, eland, fringe-eared oryx, lesser kudu and gerenuk.

Overnight at Tarangire Treetops – Lunch, dinner, and breakfast.

Day 3

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Guests enjoy a full day in Tarangire including guided game drives, a visit to a local Maasai village, sundowners in the bush, and a night game drive.

Day 4

NGORONGORO / KARATU AREA

The tour departs for the Manyara airstrip after breakfast and a game drive in Tarangire National Park. A picnic lunch is served before the scheduled flight. On arrival, guests are met by representatives of The Manor and transferred to The Manor in time for high tea.

Overnight at The Manor at Ngorongoro – Lunch, dinner, and breakfast.

Day 5

NGORONGORO / KARATU AREA

Guests enjoy a full day of exploration in the Ngorongoro Crater including a picnic lunch. Established in 1959 as a multiple land-use area, with wildlife coexisting with the semi-nomadic Maasai, the conservancy is globally acclaimed for its biodiversity. The tour ascends to The Manor in time for evening cocktails.

Day 6

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Guests have the option of a morning visit to Lake Manyara National Park or choosing from a host of activities at the lodge including horseback riding, cycling, an estate tour, or a spa treatment. After lunch, the tour departs for the Serengeti National Park on a scheduled flight out of Manyara. Guests enjoy game drives, bush luncheons or dinners, and evenings under the African stars.

Overnight at Migration Camp / Pioneer Serengeti Camp – Lunch, dinner, and breakfast.

Day 7

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Guests spend the full day in the Serengeti and enjoy a picnic lunch. A morning and afternoon game drive provides the best opportunity to experience the park acclaimed for its predators, especially lions. The Serengeti, most famous, perhaps, for its wildebeest migration in their millions. The view of endless grasslands from the summit of Naabi Hill, at the park’s entrance, is spectacular. Over 500 bird species makes the Serengeti an incredible birder’s destination. Visitors return to camp in time for sundowners.

Day 8

DEPARTURE

Visitors have the option of enjoying the morning sunrise or a game walk. Guests depart for Arusha on a scheduled flight after lunch. An Elewana representative will assist the group and facilitate transfers to Kilimanjaro International Airport for outbound departure.
