Day 1-2

CENTRAL KALAHARI GAME RESERVE

Upon arrival at Maun Airport, guests will be met and transferred by light aircraft (scheduled service) to Tau Pan. As the first semi-permanent camp in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, environmental sensitivity is a key focus. The camp is 100% solar-powered and water is pumped from deep under the Kalahari sands. The beautiful camp is built overlooking a permanent waterhole and accommodates guests in 8 well-appointed en-suite tents on raised decks, all complete with comfortable beds and stunning views. Thrilling wildlife is regularly seen from the comfort of the camp, but can be explored further on game drives. The Central Kalahari is host to an abundance of game including cheetah, leopard, ostrich, and giraffe.
Overnight at Tau Pan – Dinner, breakfast, and lunch.

Day 3-4

OKAVANGO DELTA

After breakfast, guests depart via scheduled transfer by light aircraft for a 2 night stay in the Okavango Delta. Pom Pom is built overlooking a lagoon in a private concession in the Okavango Delta, located on the western border of the game rich Moremi
Game Reserve. Guests have their own personal guide and tracker, exploring the area through game drives, or alternatively, in a dugout canoe on the delta lagoons and channels. After an eventful day out in the wilderness, guests retire to the luxurious en-suite tents or head to the thatch and canvass main area for a cold drink from the bar before catching up with other guests over dinner in the boma.
Overnight at Pom Pom Camp – Dinner, breakfast, and lunch.

Day 5-6

KHWAI CONCESSION

After breakfast, guests leave on a scheduled transfer by light aircraft for the next part of the tour. Built in the Khwai Concession, bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, a superb setting on the eastern tongue of the Okavango Delta in the game rich Khwai area and with breathtaking views of the Khwai River, Machaba Camp is a classic property offering luxury accommodation in a wildlife haven. Start the day by watching the elephants and hippos in the river from the veranda. Days are rounded off with a delicious meal served in the dining area or cooling off in the inviting swimming pool. Activities at the camp include game drives in the Moremi Game Reserve where big game such as elephant, leopard, and lion are a regular sighting, and mokoro excursions in the maze of waterways that form part of the Delta.
Overnight at Machaba Camp – Dinner, breakfast, and lunch.

Day 7-8

KWANDO CONCESSION

After breakfast and the morning game activity, guests make their way by air (scheduled transfer by light aircraft) to the Kwando Concession. Overlooking the Linyanti marshes, Lebala offers guests panoramic views of the wide plains and dotted tree islands in front of the camp. The camp allows for magnificent views overlooking wide-open plains and diverse game coming in for a drink. The main camp consists of a lounge, bar, raised-deck dining room, swimming pool, and social fire-pit area for the evening’s tales. Fresh, home-made meals are served buffet style from the main area. Activities on offer include game drives, night drives, and nature walks (at the guide’s discretion due to the high volume of large herbivores such as elephant).
Overnight at Lebala – Dinner, breakfast, and lunch.

Day 9-10

CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, a scheduled transfer by light aircraft takes guests from Lebala to Kasane Airport. They will be transferred by road to Muchenje Safari Lodge. Situated in the Chobe Forest Reserve on the western edge of the Chobe National Park, Muchenje Safari Lodge offers personalised service and a thrilling wildlife experience. Activities at Muchenje include exploring the diverse wildlife in the Chobe region through exciting game drives, nature walks or a sunset boat cruise down the Chobe River.
Overnight at Muchenje Safari Lodge – Dinner, breakfast, and lunch.

Day 11-12

EASTERN ZAMBEZI/CAPRIVI REGION (CHOBE RIVER)

After breakfast, guests are transferred by road from Muchenje Safari Lodge to Botswana Immigration. Guests board a boat to Namibia Immigration, located on Impalila Island, and continue to board the Chobe Princesses. The houseboats, berthed on the famous Chobe River at the entrance to the Chobe National Park, are small, intimate and upmarket. Guests have the opportunity to view the vast elephant and hippo population away from the crowds traversing the Chobe National Park.
Overnight on Chobe Princesses – Dinner, breakfast, and lunch.
Please note: Guests will be required to comply with Botswana and Namibia immigration formalities on arrival and departure.

Day 13

DEPARTURE

After breakfast, transfer by boat to Namibia Immigration from where guests continue by boat to Botswana Immigration. Scheduled transfer by road to Kasane Airport in time for their onward arrangements.
