Day 1 | 420km

CENTRAL NAMIBIA

Your journey takes you into the main agricultural and cattle farming hubs of Namibia. Relax along the pool in the large garden, go on a nature or game drive, or take a scenic walk along one of the walking paths. At a frequented waterhole next to the lodge, you can observe some of the animals inhabiting the area.

Day 2 | 430km

KAVANGO REGION

En route to the Kavango Region you can visit the Hoba Meteorite, the largest known meteorite in the world. Nearing the Kavango Region, you can pause at a number of villages to purchase hand made crafts that reflect the uniqueness of this pristine area. Your lodge is situated in Rundu along the Kavango River where you can observe the typical African way of life on an afternoon boat cruise.

Day 3 | 220km

ZAMBEZI REGION

After breakfast, travel east following the flow of the Kavango River until it turns south to feed the Okavango Delta in Botswana. Your lodge is nestled among huge jackalberry trees in close vicinity to the Popa Falls. In the afternoon you can meander down the river on a sunset cruise, observing the miscellaneous bird and wildlife populations while enjoying a refreshing drink on the river.

Day 4

MAHANGO NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast travel into the Mahango Game Park, Namibia’s smallest, yet one of its most diverse wildlife havens. Predators such as leopard, lion, hyena, and even wild dog also inhabit the park. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure – take in the lush environment along the pool or relax on the verandah of your room amidst the melodic tune of birds.

Day 5 | 250km

KAZA TRANSFRONTIER PARK

Travelling further east you enter the Bwabwata Game Park that is bordered only by natural river systems and therefore preserves the ageless migration routes of the diverse game found in this area. An abundance of wildlife lives along the Kwando River, including lion, roan, sable, elephant, and buffalo as well as over 450 different bird species. Explore this water rich area by boat or on game drive, alternatively you can visit a traditional village of the Mafwe tribe.

Day 6 | 260km

KAZA TRANSFRONTIER PARK

Spend the day exploring the waterways of the Chobe Floodplain (Classic)/Kwando and Nkasa Lupala National Park (Superior). The river systems and national parks of the Zamebzi Region in Namibia form part of the KAZA Transfrontier Park.

Day 7 | 70km

CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

Travelling along the Zambezi Strip, you cross the border to Botswana. Driving along stretches of towering baobab trees, you will enjoy the Chobe flood plains and Chobe National Park. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, or participate in the many activities on offer at your lodge.

Day 8

CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

The activities in and around the Chobe National Park are mainly revolved around the spectacular wildlife. Besides being Botswana’s second largest park, the Chobe National Park boasts the largest elephant concentration in the world, and is the habitat of all African large predators as well as a vast variety of antelope species. With over 500 different bird species, the park is a haven for birders. Use the day to view the wildlife on a game drive in the early morning and with a boat cruise in the late afternoon.

Day 9 | 100km

VICTORIA FALLS

After breakfast you receive a transfer from Kasane to Victoria Falls. Depending on time availability, you have a wide variety of optional activities at our disposal. Enjoy an optional sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, where you have the opportunity to see some of the animals and birds that live in the Victoria Falls National Park while enjoying a sundowner drink.

Day 10

VICTORIA FALLS

After breakfast discover why the Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World as you explore it on foot. This dramatically beautiful event is accompanied by a deafening roar and fine spray that arcs up into the sky, giving the falls its local name: Mosi-oa-Tunya – the “Smoke that Thunders”. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or participate in other optional activities.

Day 11

DEPARTURE

Depending on your departure flight you will receive a transfer to the Victoria Falls International Airport or continue with your journey on the “Wetlands and Deserts Tour” through Botswana back to Namibia.
