Day 1 | Tuesday

VICTORIA FALLS

After our arrival in Victoria Falls, we check into our hotel. Depending on time availability, we have a wide variety of activities at our disposal. In the late afternoon, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, where we stand the chance to see some of the animals and birds that live in the Victoria Falls National Park while enjoying a sundowner drink.

Overnight at Kingdom Hotel

Day 2 | Wednesday

VICTORIA FALLS

After breakfast discover why the Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World as we explore it on a guided excursion. This dramatically beautiful event is accompanied by a deafening roar and fine spray that arcs up into the sky, giving the falls its local name: Mosi-oa-Tunya – the “Smoke that Thunders”. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or participate in other optional activities.

Overnight at Kingdom Hotel – Breakfast.

Day 3 | Thursday

CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

Today we travel to the Chobe National Park, where wildlife roams freely in profusion and diversity. It is home to the largest concentration of elephant in Africa, while other game consists of large herds of buffalo, puku, lechwe, bushbuck, and kudu. Other major species such as lion, leopard, wild dog, sable, and roan antelope are encountered in many areas of the reserve. In the afternoon embark on a guided Chobe sunset cruise along the national park to experience the multitude of game species found along the banks of the Chobe River.

Overnight at Chobe Marina Lodge/Chobe Safari Lodge – Breakfast.

Day 4 | Friday

MAKGADIKGADI PANS

Shortly before sunrise travel by open safari vehicle into the Chobe National Park for a game drive before travelling to the mesmerising region of the greater Makgadikgadi and Sowa pans, the largest inland clay pans in the world. During an afternoon nature drive we experience this geological phenomenon of surrealistic beauty.

Overnight at Nata Lodge / Pelican Lodge – Breakfast.

Day 5 | Saturday

GREATER MOREMI REGION

We travel via Maun towards the concession bordering the Moremi/Khwai reserve to the east, an area that we will explore in detail over the next days. En route to our camp, we have the opportunity to already keep our eyes open for game species, but can also marvel at the untouched traditional lifestyle of the Botswana people that inhabit the area. Once at our camp, we have the rest of the day at leisure and can relax in the pristine nature that surrounds the camp.

Overnight at Tuskers Tented Camp – or similar Tented Camp – Breakfast and dinner.

Day 6 | Sunday

MOREMI GAME RESERVE

After an early breakfast, we leave camp for extensive morning and afternoon game drives through the Moremi Game Reserve in search of predators and a range of other animal species such as elephant and antelope. The Moremi area is unequalled in scenic beauty and hosts an excellent quantity of birds, animals, and plants. The park covers about one third of the entire Okavango Delta and with its giant mopane forests, contrast beautifully with the wide open spaces of the Khwai floodplain.

Overnight at Tuskers Tented Camp – Tented Camp – Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 7 | Monday

KHWAI CONCESSION

We again head out in open game viewer vehicles for a full day game drive through the Khwai Concession or Xini Lagoon (pending on current water levels), one of the world’s most famous game concessions. Together with the Moremi Game Reserve this area covers more than 4871km² of pristine wilderness, and its varied terrain includes savannah, winding waterways, and thick forest. This diversity supports an incredibly wide spectrum of wildlife, ranging from large herds of buffalo, wildebeest and zebra, to the rare sitatunga and lechwe antelope, all these attracting lion, cheetah, leopard, and packs of wild dog into the open grasslands. The birdlife is prolific and includes most of the 550 bird species recorded on the Botswana national bird list.

Overnight at Tuskers Tented Camp – or similar tented Camp – Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 8 | Tuesday

KALAHARI DESERT

A early departure takes us out of the park and back to Maun, from where we travel via Ghanzi and the Kalahari Desert back to Namibia, where the remainder of the day is spent at leisure.

Overnight at Zelda Guest Farm or similar – Breakfast.

Day 9 | Wednesday

DEPARTURE

We travel through Gobabis, the capital of Namibia’s cattle farming country back to Windhoek. Windhoek is a cosmopolitan melting pot of European architecture with African culture, with a variety of good restaurants to choose from. You will be dropped off at your accommodation of choice, or transferred to the airport for your outward flight.

Breakfast.
