Day 1-2

CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

Guests arrive at Kasane Airport, Chobe region, either via regional scheduled flight or by own arrangement, should they have spent a few days in the Chobe region or be travelling from one of the neighbouring countries.

The dedicated safari guide will be waiting to warmly welcome the guests and discuss their interests and expectations for their safari during a full safari briefing. Once guests have become acquainted with their guide, they will depart in a safari vehicle and drive south to the Serondela area.

Northern Chobe is renowned for its large variety of bird and animal life, including the large herds of elephant that the Serondela area is best known for, as well as lion, leopard, wild dog and the elusive cheetah. The Chobe riverfront also boasts beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets.
Overnight in dome-style mobile tented camp – Dinner, lunch, and breakfast.

Day 3-4

SAVUTE

Today guests will travel from northern Chobe (6–8 hours overland game drive) to the Savute region where they will camp for 2 nights in this spectacular and intense landscape.

Renowned for lion and other predator viewing, the landscape around Savute is starkly beautiful and not entirely flat. Mopane forest gives way to acacia Savanna with rocky outcrops.

The now dry Savuti Channel runs through this landscape linking the dry sand-veld, the waterholes, the hills and the grassland that was the Savuti Marsh.

The area is inhabited by a huge pride of lions with numbers fluctuating from 20-30 members and resident clans of hyena are bucket list targets for most visitors to the area.

Day 5-6

MOREMI WILDLIFE RESERVE

Today guests travel from Savute to the Khwai region, east of the Okavango Delta, via scheduled air transfer in a light aircraft. Situated on a private concession, on the banks of a seasonal waterway overlooking the celebrated Moremi Wildlife Reserve, guests are spoilt for choice at the assortment of excellent wildlife sightings in the area.

Guests spend 2 nights camping on the concession, with game drives and bush walks.

Day 7-8

OKAVANGO DELTA

A short, scheduled flight in a light aircraft will take guests to another airstrip in the Okavango Delta, from where they are transferred to the campsite in the famous Nxabega Concession.

A maze of sparkling lagoons, meandering channels, and overgrown islands, the Okavango Delta is the world’s only inland delta. Red lechwe and sitatunga are found in this watery wilderness, while lion and leopard share the floodplains with giraffe and elephant.

Spend 2 nights at the campsite in a private concession area bordering the Moremi Wildlife Reserve, with a complement of camp staff to cater for all needs.

Explore the crystal-clear channels, islands and waterways by mokoro (dug-out canoe) and enjoy nature walks and game viewing on the islands.

Please note that the water-based activities are seasonal.
Overnight at Okavango Delta Tented Camp – Dinner, lunch, and breakfast.

Day 9

DEPARTURE

A short, scheduled flight in a light aircraft will take guests to Maun Airport in time to continue with their own arrangements.
